Caring for Your Crystals
Crystals are more than beautiful — they're energetic tools. Over time, they absorb and carry energy from their environment, your body, and your experiences. Just like we need to rest, crystals benefit from a moment to clear and reset
Smoke Cleansing
Pass your crystal through the smoke of sacred herbs like sage, palo santo, or rosemary. This is a gentle, traditional way to release energy and invite clarity.
Best for: Most stones — especially delicate or soft ones.
Moonlight
Place your crystals under the full moon overnight. The moon's energy is cooling, calming, and perfect for restoring subtle frequencies.
Tip: A windowsill works fine if you can't place them outdoors.
Water - Use with care
Some crystals can be rinsed in clean, natural water. Important: Not all stones are water-safe — avoid soaking anything soft, porous, or metallic (like selenite or pyrite).
Safe examples: Amethyst, quartz, agate.
Salt Bed
Lay your stones on dry sea salt or Himalayan salt. This draws out dense energy. Keep fragile crystals wrapped or buffered to avoid direct abrasion.
Great for: Black tourmaline, obsidian, smoky quartz.
Sound
Use singing bowls, bells, or tuning forks. Sound waves break up and move stagnant energy - no physical contact required.
Perfect for: Any crystal, especially in groups.
Earth
Bury a crystal in natural soil for 24+ hours. This grounds the stone and returns it to a neutral, balanced state.
Ideal for: Heavy-use or emotionally charged
stones.
Sunlight
Sun energises quickly — but not every crystal loves it. Caution: Some stones can fade or crack. Limit exposure.
Best for: Carnelian, citrine, tiger's eye.
Avoid: Amethyst, rose quartz, fluorite.
It's Not Just a Ritual - It's a Relationship
Crystal care isn't about rules. It's about slowing down, reconnecting, and treating your tools with respect.Whether you use moonlight, smoke, or soil — what matters most is the intention you bring to the process.
